History
The South Nine opened June 1, 1994, was constructed and designed by Ed Engelhardt, a former Canadian Tour Professional and member of C.P.G.A. since 1965. In 2003 Ed and his son Michael Engelhardt, started construction on their design of the North Nine. Construction moved quickly and the course opened June 1, 2004, as a full length championship eighteen hole golf course with a new Pro Shop, fully stocked with the latest trends in both apparel & golf clubs.
Selected as the official host club to the 2010 Alberta Ladies Amateur Championship, River's Edge has undergone many renovations in preparation for the prestigious event. Although our course is challenging, it is also extremely fair and provides enjoyment for golfers of all skill levels.
